Health professionals are encouraged to take advantage of the early-bird discounts available until 6 October for the 2017 National Conference on Incontinence.

The National Conference, to be held in Sydney 15-18 November, will showcase the latest in research and practice as well as reflect the continued diversity within the field of incontinence management.

Scientific Chair, Dr Jenny King said the event is an exciting opportunity for the Australian industry to hear from international leaders in bladder, bowel and pelvic floor dysfunction, treatment and scientific advancements.

“This conference will host key international experts including Dr Adrian Wagg from Canada, Dr Anthony Stone from the USA, Professor Suzanne Hagen from the UK and Dr Sylvia Botros from the USA.  This truly multidisciplinary event is an excellent opportunity for Australian clinicians from a wide variety of specialties to hear the very latest thinking in our industry.

Dr King said the conference will also feature a showcase of health companies’ latest products and services.

The four-day program will include a broad range of workshops, symposiums and presentations on a range of topics from paediatrics to women’s health, male incontinence, overactive bladders, the National Disability Insurance Scheme, pelvic floor support, urinary tract infections, transvaginal mesh and slings.

“This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians in the sector to learn about new treatments, technologies, research and breakthroughs in bladder and bowel health from experts both in Australia and overseas. You won’t want to miss this conference,” Dr King said.

This year’s conference will culminate in a Gala Dinner where the Continence Foundation of Australia will announce the 2017 Carer of the Year, Best Poster Award and Best Presentation Award.

The conference will run from Wednesday 15 November to Saturday 18 November 2017 at the iconic International Convention Centre in Sydney’s Darling Harbour.  Early bird registration discounts end 6 October.
