Evidence-based guidance on products
As the prevalence of incontinence around the world increases, so too does the range and specialisation of continence products.
The Continence Product Advisor provides evidence-based guidance on how to select and effectively use the right continence products.
A joint venture between the International Consultation on Incontinence and the International Continence Society (ICS), the website was created by an editorial team based at University College London and the University of Southampton, in partnership with the ICS.
The international site is linked to different countries, so that local information on product availability, guidelines and regulations is available.
Written and reviewed by continence healthcare professionals and users of continence products, the focus is on product designs and types, without reference to branded products, except when essential. With no advertising on the not-for-profit website, its development and maintenance will be funded through educational grants.
